What got you into bikes? 80’s BMX kid - Old habits die hard. Still playing bikes after all these years.

What would you change about cycling in Pensacola if you could? Let’s stop throwing glass bottles out of car windows. Bike tires are expensive.

Best advice for someone who wants to 'ride MORE'? Find a bike that makes you happy. Ride it. Be happy!

Roadie, Mountain Biker, Bikepacker

The ‘go to’ bike: Specialized Crux - this bike does it all!

Favorite bike of all time: Niner One9 Single Speed. Why do you need so many gears? You can only use one at a time-

Favorite place to ride: Blackwater State Forest and North up into Conecuh National Forest. Trees, trails, dirt, rivers, ponds, snakes, bears, and pitcher plants- oh my!

Favorite race: Trans North Georgia Bikepacking Race. Most challenging adventure I’ve ever attempted and finished twice.

Favorite cycling accessory: Revelate Tangle frame bag - the perfect place to stash breakfast burritos.

Favorite post-ride nosh: Big T Chicken Tenders and a chocolate-dipped cone

Best advice for someone who wants to 'ride MORE'? Do it. Ride more. Make a goal, distance or days ridden, meet that goal and then exceed it. Figure out how to grocery shop by bike and then do it. You can learn everything you need to know about biking/commuting by shopping and transporting food on your bicycle.

Roadie, Gravel Cyclist, Mountain Biker

Primary bike: Cervelo Soloist, SRAM Force AXS, Reserve 40/44 wheelset.

The ‘FUN’ bike: Otso Cycles Waheela S

All time favorite bike: Dawes Track Bike - the gateway drug!

Favorite ride/race: Noma to Noma. 150 miles race around Lake Pontchartrain. Just finishing is a grand accomplishment but when you really try and push it to the next level and complete it as fast as you are able to, that's where you really fight some demons!

Favorite piece of cycling kit: RMB Vest! Blocks wind on the chest. Layers easily. Packs up super small. Double zipper for temperature regulation.

Favorite cycling accessory: GPS Computer. If you didn’t record it, does it even count?

Favorite mid-ride snack: Payday bar.

What would you change about cycling if you could? Bottom bracket "standards". Can we just all agree that threads in frames work really well?

Best advice for someone who wants to 'ride MORE'? Just get out there. Don't let your fears of "I'm not as strong/fast/good as you guys/gals" keep you from trying your best. Just because you may not be able to hang with the ‘fast’ people, doesn't mean you cannot get a challenge out of the experience.
